Paris HUB History – PARIS HUB

Paris HUB History

Ideas, innovations, and growth

Beginning with its founding in 1986, our enterprise network’s story over a quarter of a century is about a commitment to putting clients first, innovative thinking, passion for performance and a remarkable collaboration. The founder was Mme Samira Tanfous who is a pioneer investor and thinker, she managed multi-assets in large range of fields and was one of the most successful developer of private equity and education for development in the 20th centry.  Paris HUB SAS begun to operate as a continuity of its network early 2013 in Paris area.

Something different: 1986-1998

The Paris HUB network began in 1986 with three people in a single room who believed they could build a better asset management firm which invests in branding and re-manage the sales value chain. They shared a determination to put client needs and interests first and a dedication to clear thinking and fact-based, data-driven investing, as well as a passion for understanding and managing risk.

Founded under the umbrella of The family Group, the firm initially focused primarily on physical allocation and opportunities in the high growth sectors like retail, whole sale, fashion, education, and energy. By listening to clients and understanding their unmet needs, the firm was able to develop important early innovations related to closed-end funding and operational allocation which was the core who defined contribution plans and more. One of these was Riadh Company, which raised a new concept of family oriented offering to medium class in emerging markets and set the business on a path of steady growth and success. Development also began on Knowledge management under G-E.A, the unified consulting platform that ultimately combines training and advisory programs in a large panel including: Finance( trading, risk management,…),  Organization (human capital, …), Strategy (development, ….) and tailored client programs. G-E.A’s capacity for insight would distinguish Paris HUB as an innovator on high added value sectors like  investment and risk manager and become the basis for the Paris HUB SAS’ Solutions business.

Seeds of Diversification: 1998-2006

As it diversified, the firm developed the concept of One core value, which would become a core principle. Where many companies were structured with autonomous business units, Paris HUB network insisted instead on a coordinated platform. Managing advisory, equity and other businesses together, Paris HUB put in place a client-centric business model in which the entire firm’s resources and products can be leveraged for the benefit of clients.

In 2004, Paris HUB network created LE COMPTOIR a global service that includes management, sales and after sales. By the end of that year, the firm had strengthen in assets under management and that figure would grow to leverage know how into different sectors by the end of 2006.

A Diversified Global Manager: 2006 to Today

By 2006 Paris HUB had strong Knowledge, equity and advisory businesses. The firm now undertook a series of transformational mergers and partnership that added core operational investment competencies. These partnerships strengthened Paris HUB’s products and services mix with more offerings in retail, equity, multi-asset products and alternatives, and they greatly expanded the firm’s scale and global reach. The biggest of the programs took place in 2006, when the management developed Reach the World program which facilitates the integration of emerging economies into developed  markets, the Pulse Foreign Direct Investment which is the unique Global Investors, giving the government agencies additional active, index and exchange information, systems and organization to attract direct fund capabilities.

In this period, our management pioneered multi-solutions and entered in 2009 in the agriculture investment . The firm became the market innovator by bringing together teams that provided a range of client offerings into one unit, combining operational asset allocation and a host of product solutions that spanned asset classes.

Leveraging earlier work, including G-E.A Solutions, Paris HUB began providing impartial advice through Markets Advisory (MA). The MA team helps governments, financial institutions and other public and private capital markets participants around the world understand their investments and risk. This team became under G-E.A Finance name and ALJOUDI|HARBOR brand since early 2014.
